Graduate from a recognized university or institution and should have qualified a test in Punjabi and English Stenography to be held by the Board or the appointing authority at a speed of 80 wpm in Punjabi Shorthand and 60 wpm in English Shorthand and to be transcribed at the speed of 15 wpm. PSSSB Stenographer Vacancy Details 2024 –
In the Punjab Recruitment of Ex-Servicemen Rules, 1982, in rule 4, in sub-rule (1), for the existing third proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:- “Provided further that when an ex-serviceman is not available for recruitment against a reserved vacancy and further no wife or dependent child of an Ex-serviceman is available for recruitment against a reserved vacancy, such shall be reserved to be filled in by recruitment of the grand child of a Gallantry Award Winner, in case the benefit of reservation has not been availed of by any of the children or dependents of such winner or by the winner himself subject to the conditions specified in the second provision.”
