UKPSC APS Education Qualification 2024 –

| Additional Private Secretary | (i) Bachelor’s degree from a University established by law in India or any qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto; Provided that it is compulsory to pass practical test on computer knowledge in the main examination. (ii) Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Hindi shorthand and minimum speed of 8000 key depressions per hour in Hindi typing on computer. (iii) Minimum speed of 100 words per minute in English shorthand and minimum speed of 9000 key depressions per hour in English typing on computer. Explanation:- English shorthand test shall be optional for the candidates, but candidates who pass the English shorthand test shall be given preference in selection. Other things being equal, in case of direct recruitment, preference shall be given to such candidate who:- (a) has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 02 years, or (b) has obtained ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate of National Cadet Corps. |
